Blue Stallion Has Found Their Niche

Blue Stallion Brewing Company is relatively new to the craft beer scene in Lexington, but they’ve already found their niche.

Blue Stallion specializes in German-style lagers and British-style ales, as Xavier Donnelly explains. Head Brewer Nico Schulz grew up in Germany and worked in the brewing industry there, giving them an expert to lead their brewing efforts. You’ll find about a half-dozen of their brews on tap at any time, and each of them is a bit different than what you’ll find elsewhere in Lexington.

It’s a unique twist on the explosion of craft breweries in Kentucky, and it’s sure to draw a crowd at the Kentucky Gathering. Blue Stallion’s German Pilsner, Schwarzbier and Oktoberfest will all be on hand for sampling.
